This Privacy Policy explains how TA Next Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and learning platform (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the Platform, and limited technical information from your device and browser.
When you create an account we collect your email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), and profile details such as your first and last name and preferred language. Your name may be used on certificates of completion.
We store your enrollments, lesson progress, completion status, time spent where applicable, and related learning activity so we can deliver courses and track your progress.
We store the reflection responses you write and the answers and results of quizzes you complete, so you can review them, resume learning, and download your own reflections.
We store certificate records, including the associated course or program, completion date, the name displayed on the certificate, and a verification code used for public verification.
If you apply for an Instructor / Learning Partner membership, we collect and store the information you submit, including your bio, professional background, teaching topics, languages, optional website and social/professional links, the acknowledgements you accept, and any certification documents you upload. Certification documents are stored privately and are accessible only to TA Next Academy; they are not exposed publicly. We also store the status of your instructor record and any administrative notes related to review, safety, or account standing.
If community spaces, discussions, comments, or other member-interaction features are made available, we may store the content you post and related moderation information, such as reports or actions taken in response to complaints or policy violations. We do not represent that community posts are private; please do not share sensitive personal information in community spaces.
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store full credit card numbers. We store limited, non-sensitive billing references such as your membership status, plan, subscription period, and a Stripe customer identifier. Stripe processes payment-related data according to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy.
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and preferences, and (where applicable) remember a referral code for a limited time. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
We use information to operate and improve the Platform, deliver courses and certificates, manage memberships and payments, provide support, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Platform — such as our hosting provider, our database/authentication provider, and Stripe for payments — and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.
We retain account, learning, certificate, and billing-reference information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion as described below.
We use technical and organizational measures, including access controls and row-level security, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access.
You can view and update your profile (including your name and email) from your account page, and request changes or deletion of your data by contacting us. Some records, such as issued certificates, may be retained where required.
The Platform is not directed to children under the age required by your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using the Platform, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, with appropriate safeguards where required.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or your data can be sent to support@ta-next.com.
